ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS WE ARE ASKED FREQUENTLY
How long will it take my order to arrive?
Most of our pieces are made to order and will ship within 2 weeks. If we have a particular piece in stock, we will process and ship your order in 1-3 business days. If a gold piece in not in stock when you order it could take up to 6 weeks, but we will contact you to let you know. All of our orders are shipped via USPS priority mail (unless otherwise requested by customer), so allow 2-6 days for orders shipping in the US. Please note that f. is for frank is not responsible for service transit time. Once an order has been shipped we will send you a confirmation email letting you know your order is on its way.
How much is shipping?
Each shipment starts at a flat rate of $5.50 for the first item. Shipping for custom orders will be determined before shipping and final invoicing.
All orders to Alaska, Hawaii and APO addresses will incur an additional $10 handling charge to the shipping fees above. A few items we carry require additional shipping fees due to their size and weight. We reserve the right to change shipping fees for certain products, and if a change applies, the customer will be notified prior to the fulfillment of the order.
Do you ship international?
Yes. If you are an international customer and would like to make a purchase, please contact us. We will provide you with a shipping quote based on your order.
Can I rush my order?
If you cannot wait for your purchase, please contact us to see how fast we can get it to you. Additional fees are applicable and must be paid before the package is sent out.
Will I be charged sales tax?
An 8.25% sales tax is required for all Texas residents and will be automatically added to their orders. Residents in other states are responsible for complying with the tax laws in their individual states.
What is your return policy?
We want you to love your f. is for frank product as much as we do. Returns will be accepted within 30 days of your issued receipt for shop credit or exchange ONLY. Please note that all sale items and custom orders are final. Items must be returned in their original and unused condition and in their original packaging. Please make sure all items are well packed and insured for their full amount. A restocking fee may apply to all items not received in their original condition. Shipping costs are non-refundable and all return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer.
Before making a return or exchange, you will need to contact us. Please include your order number and list of items returning. We will then issue you a return authorization number, which will be included in your return package. Please do not return any items with out an authorization number. Any item returned without prior approval is subject to a 15% restocking fee.

What if I receive damaged or defective merchandise?
Please inspect your purchase as soon as it arrives. Damage claims must be made within 48 hours of the package arrival. Claims cannot be made after 48 hours. If you have received an item that is damaged or defective, contact us immediately for a return authorization number.
f. is for frank respects your privacy and will never sell, trade, loan, rent or give away any personal information. Personal information will only be used for services requested such as processing an order and shipping your package to the address you provide.
What types of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover) through PayPal.
We do not store any credit or debit card information. PayPal securely processes all your personal credit card information. For more information about PayPal, visit the PayPal website.
What materials do you use to make your products?
We use a variety of materials, but our most frequently used materials are lead-free pewter, 24k gold plating, rose gold plating, sterling silver and gold filled findings.
About the plating:
Gold adheres very well to pewter, but it will eventually wear off.
Here are a few things that could effect the longevity of the plating.
-Extreme temperature change can in some circumstances affect plating.
-High impact such as dropping your jewel on a hard surface
-Exposure to ultrasonic cleaners
-Leaving jewelry carelessly with each other or letting it rub against other hard surfaces can create scratches.
Are all pieces exactly the same?
There will be slight variations as each piece is designed, cast and finished in our Dallas, TX studio. The finish on pewter pieces are “live” and therefore will tarnish with time. Pewter items can be polished with a PEWTER polish in order to restore their sheen.
Do you do custom orders?
Yes, we do! f. is for frank is available for private or commercial projects. We will work with you on designing a piece just right for you or your company. We are able to do runs from 1 to 1000’s. Please contact us to discuss your ideas!
